The food was fantastic at every single meal - and the staff were excellent: kind, friendly and very helpful. The pool was lovely and it was only 5 minutes walk to the beach. The place is very charming - like perhaps it was built in the 1950's. Very close by UBER to the Zone Romantica and all the art galleries and museums. Close to the airport. Great for exploring old Puerta Vallarta!

The service is top notch here. Compared to other all inclusive option's, this one has real authentic Mexican charm. For the price, this little resort packs a punch. Next door is a market for your everyday needs if you forgot something and right next door there is a lively bar.

The food at the buffet and the specialty restaurant were excellent. The staff at the restaurant were very attentive and made our trip all the more enjoyable.

I liked the food and all inclusive. Staff was really nice to us especially the restaurant buffet, bar by the pool, and excursions guy (Luis) . Alfredo at Sabores de México restaurant; great server. Events like singers during the weekend were great and we had another show el Día de muertos as well as Mexican food. Food was overall ok, the restaurant sabores de México had the best dishes since is a la carte menu and you have nice options you can pay if you really want to treat yourself.

For an all inclusive in PVR, great value. King size bed was a relief after sleeping on a full for a month. Courtyard/pool balcony view was nice but its not private if thats what you're looking for. Room was large and very clean. Its a dated hotel that is well kept. The buffet restaurant is well staffed and there is plenty of food. Some of it was hit/miss but they have a very good pastries and breads chef. The property is nice, it is old but taken care of. All inclusive on the booking.com site stated food included, which was a decent deal. I got there an it was food and beverage included. Well great! My plan was to sit by the pool and drink during the day, hit up the buffet 3 times a day, and relax in my room at night with a good book. So, yeah - free beers by the pool, fabulous! The staff was a great selling point. Everyone was so nice and helpful, they put up with my terrible spanish, kept me well hydrated, and even when they couldn't accommodate my request for a larger safe they were courteous.

The food was amazing!!! I've been doing the PV all-inclusive thing for a while and this was by far the best food I've ever had. Delicious! I've seen some reviews about the staff's level of English, but i don't speak Spanish (I try, but dot accomplish much). I didn't have any issues, everyone was very friendly and English wasn't a problem.

Great hotel at great location. This hotel had good restaurants and great location ( not far from the beach ) . Bus stop is very close ( so is the airport ) and 30 mins walk from the city centre.

We love this property. It was our second time staying here. Last time we came in March and it was noticeably hotter this time in June. We thought maybe there would be fewer people in June but we were wrong - it was full! We love that it’s mostly Mexicans who come to this resort. The buffet is small but has enough selection for us. The food is geared toward Mexicans so, in my view, that means the food is delicious. There are still some basics like meat, cheese, fruit, bread, that everyone is bound to enjoy. I love the sopes, tacos, empanadas, and more. We ate chilaquiles for breakfast daily with beans and eggs. They had an omelette station sometimes too. I love the green juice! So fresh. We like that this resort is small. There is only 1 a-la-carte restaurant but it’s lovely. I loved Mexican Fiesta night - it was so fun and well done. We went to a mega resort before and their Mexican fiesta was nothing in comparison to this one. They have some entertainment some nights. It seems maybe in June there aren’t as many scheduled activities as there were in March. My guess is because in June there aren’t many foreigners coming. We stayed in the king superior room and loved the charm. It was clean and the AC worked well. We adore the colonial style of this hotel. The staff are extremely friendly, completely different from our experience at a mega resort on the Cancun side. This hotel is 80 years old. So you need to give up your expectation that it’s something it’s not. It’s not brand new, modern or large. The pool is small and lovely. An iguana jumped into the pool for a dip, which was funny. The downside of this hotel is the beach access. You have to walk a couple blocks or take a shuttle. The beach is fairly nice though. However I recommend to go south of Vallarta to better beaches where the water is calmer for swimming. You can still have a great beach experience using this hotel’s beach access.

Pool was always clean and a lovely temperature. Lots of sunlight hours. Never had to wait for a table at meal times. Staff were very friendly. Beach club was small but sufficient. Great value. Not too wild or loud at nights. Would return.
